Sara Jan

Master Coach & Trainer

Canada

Sara Jan is a member of Kerage’s Executive Team and brings more than 25 years of experience spanning performance coaching, entrepreneurship, and large-scale organizational transformation.

She works with leaders and organizations that are serious about growth—helping them create clarity around objectives, build teams that actually work, and connect strategy to execution in a way that holds up under pressure. The outcome of working with Sara is not just alignment on paper, but environments where people can perform, adapt, and succeed in practice.

Raised in Trinidad and now based in the Cayman Islands, Sara began her career as a competitive swim coach after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. For more than 15 years, she worked with high-performing athletes across Canada, driven by a central question: what actually creates success?

That question led her to pursue an MBA and into entrepreneurship, where she grew a small gelato factory in Halifax into a successful business. Along the way, she became increasingly convinced that the same principles that drive athletic performance—clarity, accountability, resilience, and effective systems—are foundational to success in business as well.

Over the past decade, Sara has applied this performance-based lens within complex, high-pressure environments, leading teams and major change initiatives for offshore law firms undergoing aggressive growth. Her work focuses on aligning people, process, and strategy—while managing the operational and cultural challenges that inevitably emerge as organizations scale.

Known for combining a coach’s mindset with a strategist’s eye, Sara excels at translating big vision into operational precision. She helps leaders and teams thrive under pressure by building systems and structures that support sustained performance, not short-term wins.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys swimming in Caribbean waters, hosting friends, designing new cocktails, and being the loudest cheerleader at her nephew’s football games.
